Motivational Quotes and Images for Those Feeling Depressed, Sad, or Down.

Motivational Poster

If you search the internet for tips on reducing depression, or ways to stop feeling sad you will find a wealth of materials! Often these tips will remind you to spend time with quality people in your life, engage in a routine, go outside, find something funny to watch, and so on and so on. For those not ready to make a move just yet on the physical activity or if you find yourself wanting a little extra boost in your day, here are some inspiring quotes and images that will hopefully help!

First off...

It's ok to be sad sometimes.

If you find yourself feeling down you aren't alone. It simply means you're human like the rest of us. But today we're here to say....

If someone hasn't already told you this today, you're doing a great job at being the best you can be! If you feel like you haven't done anything of importance, simply considering change or ways that you can improve your life or feelings of sadness is actually the first step! Try not to give up hope! There is always someone out there, even if you haven't met them who cares about how you feel and that you exist. So keep on fighting!

Look to Love for Hope

Do you have someone that you care deeply about, or does someone care deeply about you? Whether it is a person, a pet, an acquaintance, an online community, etc. someone out there wants to or does love you unconditionally. Feel like no one loves you? What about you? Self love is also highly important in healing yourself and promoting change thoughts and behaviors. Love is a cornerstone of hope which breeds positivity, and although love can sometimes create emotional hurt and pain, it also has the power to mend broken selves.

Be Your Fabulous Self!

We all know and understand that the world can be full of negativity and hate, but it is also full of love and acceptance on the flip side of the coin. Embracing who you are as an individual is one of the hardest and most challenging parts of being a person. If you feel that you are alone in your struggle, know that there are others out there who wish you well, health, and positive vibes! Know that you are beautiful the way you are!

And lastly....

Embrace your Inner Warrior

Keep fighting to live another day and continue striving to conquer your inner demons. Life may look rough now, but it can look different and better. Don't let the negative voice inside hold you back or keep you down. Don't let others in your life keep you down either. Unleash your inner warrior and tackle that negative monster! You've got what it takes to keep moving up that mountain, and just look at how far you've come now!

I hope this helped to brighten your day, added to your motivation, enacted change, or simply got you thinking.
