About the event

This 6 week in person group is all about bringing together individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ and experience daily anxiety that can sometimes make life a bit challenging. We’ll be meeting in person, with the aim of fostering new friendships and helping to ease some of the social anxiety. Our group will incorporate a therapeutic approach called ACT and use creative art techniques to connect the curriculum with daily mindfulness practices.


What is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) used for: 

  • Anxiety

  • Daily stress 

  • Depression

  • Chronic pain
